Ich habe irgendwo gelesen, dass auch die 2005-2007 Mustangs die Takata Airbags haben, welche Probleme machen. Kann das jemand bestätigen?
Wenn ja, kann man das auch in der Schweiz austauschen lassen? Und wie sieht es mit den Kosten aus?

Und weiter:Certain 2005 through 2007 model year Ford Mustang vehicles, built at the AutoAlliance Plant from August 1, 2004, to June 30, 2007, that were originally sold or are currently registered in Florida, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands, and equipped with driver air bags incorporating Takata PSDI-4 inflators.
Ford said it is conducting the field service action at the "direction" of NHTSA, which oversees vehicle recalls in the U.S.
"While neither NHTSA nor Ford has determined that a safety defect exists in these vehicles, Ford is cooperating with the agency's request to conduct a field service action to gather airbag inflators to support its investigation into inflators produced by Takata during a specific build period," Ford said in a statement on Monday. "NHTSA is concerned that humidity may be a contributing factor to airbag inflators that do not function properly during deployment and has asked that vehicles in Florida, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands be included in this action."
Ford added: "We are not aware of any reports of this issue in any Ford vehicles."

FORD EXPANDS TAKATA DRIVER-SIDE AIRBAG INFLATOR SAFETY RECALL
DEC 18, 2014 | DEARBORN, MICH.
At the request of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Ford is expanding its recall on Takata driver-side airbag inflators. This recall includes approximately 502,489 vehicles, an addition of approximately 447,310 vehicles.
This brings the total number of Ford vehicles being recalled for Takata airbag inflators to approximately 538,977.
This expanded recall includes 2005-2008 Ford Mustang vehicles built Aug. 18, 2004 to June 25, 2007 at Flat Rock Assembly Plant and 2005-2006 Ford GT vehicles built Feb. 11, 2005 to Jan. 30, 2006 at Wixom Assembly Plant.
As of Dec. 18, 2014, Ford is aware of approximately 462,911 vehicles in the United States and federalized territories, approximately 27,516 in Canada and approximately 7,578 in Mexico affected by this recall. Approximately 4,484 additional vehicles outside of North America are also included in this action.
Ford is aware of one accident with an injury that may be related to this condition. Dealers will replace the airbag inflator at no cost to the customer.

Hat denn jetzt auf dieses offizielle Schreiben schon jemand einen Termin vereinbart? Das Teil um das es sich handelt ist eine Sprengkapsel. Ich denke nicht, dass so was im Flugzeug transportiert wird. Wird also paar Wochen gehen bis die Dinger überhaupt in der Schweiz sind.

Ich habe in der Zwischenzeit mit Th. Willy in Schlieren Kontakt aufgenommen. Sie hatten meinen Wagen nicht zum Rückrufen in ihrem Komputer, hatte ihnen aber deinen Link geschickt. Jetzt haben sie mir auch den Airbag bestellt.
