The 2010 Ford Mustang has always been fast and fun to drive but now you can add affordable and fuel efficient to the list with official news from Ford today the base V-6 Mustang will start at just $20,995 with an estimated 26 mpg highway mileage. With a price just below $21K it undercuts the Challenger Sport and 2010 Camaro by an estimated $1,000-$2,600 giving it the title of most affordable pony car.

Prices for other 2010 Mustang models include the V-6 Convertible starting at $25,995, Mustang GT coupe starting at $27995, Mustang GT convertible starting at $32,995 and the 2010 Shelby GT500 coupe has an MSRP of $46,325. Also not included in any of these prices will be the destination and delivery charge of $850.

The 2010 Mustang GT Shaker Hood System is a fully functional unit that forces outside cold air into the factory or aftermarket air box. 2010 Ford Mustang GT Dyno Run

Strictly Performance out of Houston, Texas got their hands on a 2010 Ford Mustang GT coupe and hooked it up to a Dyno to see what kind of numbers it would throw down. The results were a little surprising to say the least. According to SP 2005-09 S197 Mustang GT's were dynoing around 255 bhp and the 2010 Mustang GT peaked at 280 bhp. Even though the new 2010 Mustang GT is rated for 315 horsepower it may be packing a little more punch given these dyno numbers. Not sure why Ford would under rate the Mustang GT but anything is possible these days.

Also wenn man in den Amiforen liest, wo scheinbar sie alle Ihre Stangs auf den Dyno schicken, bringt der 05-09 auch zwischen 270-290 bhp. Denke kann man schwer verallgemeinern, da die einzelnen Autos scheinbar doch sehr untersdchiedlich gehen.

Ist aber so oder so mehr als genug für nen bisschen Fun.
